Job description:

As a PRODUCTION MANAGER, you will be responsible -for planning, coordination and control of the manufacturing process and is responsible for ensuring that goods and services are produced efficiently, with correct & accurate production quantities, produced according to the right budget and quality according to company standards & will be responsible for the development, optimization and implementation of a manufacturing process for the production of Rigid PVC Film. You will examine the manufacturing processes and drive to data-driven and sustainable solutions that will improve product output and quality as well as reduce costs. 

The role calls for the ability to apply the principles and concepts of Industrial engineering and its sub-disciplines in the lean manufacturing system. A diverse knowledge of machinery and equipment, control methods, techniques and documentation are also key skills for this position. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs, applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials;
  • Leads and creates manufacturing process development including work instructions, tooling, fixture design, value stream mapping, process & product characteristics, etc;
  • Leads Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFEMA) development & team discussions along with managing risk mitigation activities & testing;
  • Identify excessive costs, develop methods for cost reduction & implement cost reductions. Implement defect reduction activities that drive continuous improvement, standardization of post processors in all areas
  • Initiate, manage & participate in safety, quality, cost & process control improvement projects;        
  • Participate in root cause analysis to recommend solution enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity;
  • Leads, where applicable, or works in conjunction with Quality Assurance, to monitor and document quality standards;
  • Leads, where applicable, or works in conjunction with plant maintenance to ensure that the facility and equipment are maintained and updated consistent with short and long-term goals and objectives.
  • Develops all necessary process and audit documentation;
  • Provides training, as required, to associates;
  • Oversee the installation of new manufacturing equipment and work closely with equipment suppliers, local utilities, construction / installation teams and R&D to successfully transition production to full utilization;
  • Liaise with equipment suppliers for problem resolution, etc;
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree in INDUSTRIAL Engineering, RUBBER & PLASTIC TECHNOLOGY, MECHANICAL Engineering or related disciplines from a reputable university;
  • Have  at least two (2) years working experiences as Production Manager, preferably in a Plastic industry
  • MUST have strong Interpersonal skills, Leadership and Communication skills;
  • MUST have strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
  • MUST have strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and process improvement concepts in team-oriented environment, such as Root Cause Analysis, SPC, 7 Quality Tools, Six Sigma, and other analytical problem-solving/continuous improvement tools;
  • A sound knowledge of PVC/polymer industry would be a plus point;
  • Willing to work in Ngoro Industrial Park Factory (NGORO – MOJOKERTO);
  • Those who are domiciled near NGORO-MOJOKERTO area, are preferred
